Apps

Drybench.

Dry-lab tools for biology and drug development, in the browser.

Apps for proteins, molecules, clinical trials and the biology underneath, built on public scientific data. Each runs in your browser, names the source and licence beside its numbers, and states its limits up front.

The apps

The apps

Each has its own accent and mark, names the source and licence beside its numbers, and states what it cannot do before you rely on it.

How the suite works

Open it, compute in your browser, take the sources with you

  • Open, nothing to install

    1. Each app is a web page: no installer, no plug-in and no account.
    2. Large engines, such as the Mol* viewer and the RDKit chemistry engine, load only when you ask for something that needs them.
    3. Each app is built to work at phone width as well as on a desktop.
  • Compute in your browser

    1. Descriptors, conformers, trial counts and 3D views are computed on your machine.
    2. Scientific data comes straight from public services such as UniProt, the Protein Data Bank and ClinicalTrials.gov, or ships with the app.
    3. No server of ours sits between you and the data.
  • Sources and limits travel with the numbers

    1. Every panel names its sources and their licences.
    2. Licence lines that a source requires, such as ChEMBL's share-alike terms, travel with what you take away.
    3. Each app states its limits before you rely on it.

Security, changes and methods, in the open

Security posture

  • Each app runs in your browser; no server of ours is in the data path.
  • No analytics in the apps.
  • No project data is uploaded.
  • Anything in the address bar before the # (a search, a SMILES, an accession or a step) is sent to this site's host when a page loads or a link is opened; anything after the # is not sent.
  • Drybench Protein contacts rest.uniprot.org, www.ebi.ac.uk, data.rcsb.org, models.rcsb.org, alphafold.ebi.ac.uk and api.platform.opentargets.org.
  • Drybench Molecule contacts pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.
  • Drybench Pipeline contacts clinicaltrials.gov and api.fda.gov.
  • Drybench Cell contacts no host but its own.

Regulatory position

What the apps are, and are not

Regulatory position

The apps are off-the-shelf software for research and education. They have not been validated for use in a regulated (GxP) environment, and we make no claim of compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 or any GxP requirement; no software can be certified as "Part 11 compliant" on its own. Responsibility for compliance, including any validation of the software in your environment, lies with the organisation that uses it. Their prices, when set, will not include validation services.

What we provide to help you qualify them yourself: a dated changelog and release notes for every version; a methods page naming each algorithm, parameter default, data source and version; a verification dataset with expected outputs for each release so you can run your own checks; exports and reports that carry the data versions, parameters, limits and a timestamp needed to reproduce a result; and a security overview.

Pricing

Pricing, indicative

Indicative · not yet on sale

Indicative pricing, not yet on sale. The tiers on this page are a proposal for how Drybench may be sold. No price has been set, nothing can be bought here, and no licence key exists: during the preview every feature of every app is available to everyone. What each tier would include is shown so the design can be judged; it is not an offer.
