Drybench

A connected dry-lab workspace for bioscience: eight research tools for proteins, molecules, trial pipelines, bench calculations, sequences, assays, plasmids and bioreactors, joined by a Bench that keeps each study together.

What it is

Drybench is a suite of research tools for dry-lab bioscience. Protein explores protein records, structures and evidence. Molecule inspects structures and molecular properties. Pipeline explores registered trials and development landscapes. Calc plans stocks, dilutions and bench calculations. Sequence inspects biological sequences. Assay analyses dose–response data and lets you inspect the limits of each fit. Plasmid inspects plasmid maps, features and sequences. Bioreactor explores bioreactor behaviour with a teaching simulation.

The Bench

The Bench brings the tools into one place. A Study keeps the question, the relevant objects, the saved work and the conclusions together, so a compound's properties or a dilution plan can be carried into the next calculation or analysis. Separate tasks keep their own inputs, so you can pick up the right piece of work when you return.

A recorded result keeps the inputs, the method versions and the qualifications behind the output. Sources, versions and licence information travel with the tools and their exports.

Where it stands

Drybench is in preview. The Bench is open during preview, and work is saved in the browser; a Study recovery file keeps a portable copy. Cloud backup and cross-device sync are not yet enabled. It is built for research and education and has not been validated for regulated use.
