FitTools

FitTools (tools.fit) is a public health and fitness platform. It runs 43 calculators grouped into nutrition, workout, recovery, peptides and quick tools, alongside a gym tracker, a food diary and a feed summarising new research.

The reference content is organised by the questions people actually arrive with: training, nutrition, recovery, longevity, heart health and performance. The tools are free and need no account. An account exists only to save results and track them over time.

Every formula is cited to the peer-reviewed paper it comes from. The site currently carries 88 cited sources and 640 cited facts, and each calculator names its equation and states its limits on the page.

The TDEE calculator is a fair example. It names Mifflin-St Jeor as the best validated of the standard equations, then says plainly that even the best equation lands within about 10 percent of a measured value for most people, and outside it for some. Giving a number without that context is how health tools lose credibility.

The research feed applies the same rule and reports null results rather than only positive ones. Recent entries include extra protein on a diet buying less than a kilo of extra fat loss, and fermented foods failing to move two of three inflammation markers. The site search returns evidence that has actually been read rather than a generated answer.

Calculators run in the browser, so the numbers people enter about their bodies are not sent to a server. Inputs work in metric or imperial, and results are shareable.

The SEO architecture is structural rather than bolted on: structured data, programmatic landing pages, category hubs and internal linking between calculators and the reference content, designed to build traffic over time.
